Ciba Health opening a new office in Canada

Ciba Health is announcing the opening of a new office in Edmonton as the next step in the company’s global expansion. Supported by Alberta Innovates and Edmonton Global to launch operations in Edmonton, AB, Ciba Health will be bringing expertise in digital therapeutics, AI and chronic disease reversal to the region. It will enhance the growth of the Edmonton health and life science sector, strengthen Canada’s tech ecosystem, and help serve patients dealing with type 2 diabetes.

Utilizing artificial intelligence for predictive medicine, Ciba Health has chosen the Edmonton region due to its well-developed health and life science sector with plenty of room for growth within North America. The company aims to hire from 15 to 20 employees in the first year in Alberta and double the size of the team in the second year of operations. This investment will play a role in reduced hospital visits and increased R&D opportunities for life sciences. Ciba Health plans to initially be located at the Health Innovation Hub.
