The Nutrition Journal: Meal Logging, Monthly Trends and Daily Insights

Shipped June–October 2026.

🔹What’s New?

  • New Features: The Nutrition Journal — log meals, see ingredient-level nutrition, and get a daily insight built from your own data.
  • Enhancements: Monthly trends, feedback from your care team on individual meals, and a guided tutorial the first time you open it.
  • Bug Fixes: Charts, calendar and nutrient rounding.

🌟New Features

  • Nutrition Journal – Where your programme includes it, you can log what you eat and see calories, protein, carbs and fat for each meal, broken down by ingredient. Add, edit or remove individual ingredients rather than re-entering the whole meal.
  • Meal quality score – Each meal gets a score and a short explanation, so you can see at a glance how it fits your plan.
  • Daily Check-In and Daily Insights – A short daily check-in produces actionable steps and a personalised summary drawn from your logged data. (Added October 2026.)
  • Monthly view – Weekly and monthly trends for meal quality and distribution, so progress is visible over time. (Added July 2026.)

🔧Enhancements & Improvements

  • ✅ Feedback on your meals – Your care team can comment on individual meals, and you can tell us whether logging that meal was easy.
  • ✅ Guided tutorial – A walkthrough the first time you open the journal.
  • ✅ Water in your preferred unit – Water intake now defaults to ounces and remembers your preference.
  • ✅ Activity on the calendar – Days with logged meals are marked, so gaps are easy to spot.

🐞Bug Fixes

  • Charts now render correctly when a period has no data instead of appearing broken.
  • Fixed calendar overflow and month-view defaults.
  • Nutrient values now display exactly as calculated, without rounding drift.
